he Red Jewel Cichlid Hemichromis bimaculatus is an African Cichlid that is known by many other names including African Jewelfish and the Two Spotted Jewelfish. A reddish orange freshwater fish, it displays a pattern comprised of small bright green spots throughout its body and fins. Three black circular spots along its sides (the first on opercle, the second at midpoint of body, the third on the base of the caudal fin) adds to its attractive presentation. They grow to 5” in length.
